The X-27 is a splitting axe with a 36" handle.

The X-25 has a 28" handle which would be too short for me.

Im 5'10" tall, think the x-25 or x-27 would be better?  Not sure what they consider tall!

If you go to Home Depot and buy a splitting maul, it will come with a handle like the x-27. Or what I call a normal axe handle length. I could see where someone might like a little shorter handle though.

RSI, Let me know how you like that little DR splitter. That might be my next purchase....
There seems to be something wrong with it. It doesn't have much power.

I just saw a ad in our monthly Electric company magazine for the DR.

The wood looked like easy cuts in the video. It wouldn't stand up to the stuff I cut. Where others throw "Y" sections away, I'm happy to have a 25.5 ton splitter.
