Title: Damper Adjustment
Post by: anightd on November 28, 2009, 08:01:56 PM
I have heard that the Hawkin Furnace has a damper that works in concert with the fan/blower. How do you get to the damper if there is one and how do you adjust it. I need to get more air into my furnace.

Do you have a owners manual with your stove? I would think manual would give location of damper and suggested setting. If not mabe a dealer in your area could help.

There is a damper. In my case the solenoid that operates the damper had gone bad. It turns out to be an easy fix.
