well with oil heat last year thermostat was set no higher than 68. but now i have the outdoor wood boiler and a full shed of wood so its set at 74 makes the wife happy so it worth it. paul

13 below but nice and toasty in the house 74. now lets see if its still 14 hours before i have to put wood in.....

my wood master 434 is set at on 150 and off at 170 burns great i go thru a wheel barrow load in a 48 hour peroid and its been as low as -5 here once other than that lowest has been around 10 days around 30. love this thing wish i would have done this sooner.

it is the eclassic 2300 the reaction chamber was burned up and replaced under warranty but now the air hole along the lower part of the fire chamber are all like melted (rotted). still works but not as good.

anyone else having a problem with the air inlets melting? the reaction chamber last year melted. its not mine its the one we heat the town garage with . we only burn dry hard wood. 1 st year it worked great this will be our 3 yr. thanks paul

why couldnt you use jb weld(tank must be empty) and give plent of time to cure ,ive used it on an engine block that was cracked and drove vehical for a whole summer with no problems.

hello and welcome . how do you like your owb? we have one at work ,its 3 years old already have replaced the reaction chamber last year and this year the air pockets are all over sized (looks like the have melted.  i hope your having better luck with yours . paul

i need to extend my chimney not by 20 ft but something like maybe 6 to 8 ft,problem is it measures8 1/4 inside and 8 1/2 outside . i cant seem to come across anything like that other than a piece of cast water pipe from like the town water line but its to dam heavy. :bash:
