My leads keep coming off the solenoid. I have crimped them down tight but a few weeks later they just pop off.. Huge mess when your boiler idles all night long. We are heading into the cold season and I can't have this. I can't believe I'm the only having this problem with this poor design. Any one have the same problem and figured out a fix?

Wow intensedrive you have been dealing with this problem for almost a year! I'd put new connectors on the wires and try that. Or replace the solenoid or both. Doesn't hurt to have a back up solenoid.

Instead of bending the connector, try twisting the blade just a bit to hold the connector tight and support the wires so they don't pull downward.

I have drilled a wee little hole through both the blade and the slip on connector and twisted a number 14 piece of copper wire around them
or you could put anything through the hole such as a small sheet metal screw or a cotter pin. I liked the wire, it can fit in the tight space and is easily removable when replacement is needed

Could pull the solenoid out and solder a couple sort pigtails on the blade. Then just crimp a male/female insulated blade connector combo on the appropriate wires. You should possibly have a spare solenoid on the shelf since these are prone to eating them. You could have the new one all soldered up with pigtails and terminals ready to go. If I start having trouble with mine, this is what I will be doing.

Are the wires tied up so there is no tension on the connectors? If you haven't already, I would replace the ends on the wire.

Mine came off during the off season. I pulled the solenoid off and put new connectors on then used high temp electric tape and wrapped it around the body holding the wires on. Seems to do the trick.
