Okay, I am super jealous! How I would love to have a set up like that! I can only imagine how wonderful it must be to work like that.

Huh. That seems incredibly slow. I'd be splitting year-round.

Take a video of you splitting wood and then watch it. I bet it will also look
slow. If not, I was to see it.
Having someone help line up the wood would make it go much faster. The toolcat can't manuever quite as good as a skidsteer but doesn't tear up the ground and make a huge mess like they do.
The splitter has a 30" stroke and I think the average size of the rounds was about 20" most of them were forked. Also not sure if you noticed but it has a y way wedge so each

what splitter is that? I want something like that for my mini excavator.

It is a Wolfe Ridge brand. Made in Eau Claire WI.
I don't think they make a model for on excavators but you might be able to get them to build one for you. They don't make the sideways version anymore.

Them Toolkits are slicker than snot on a doorknob. The neighbors have one and even have a finishing mower for it.
