Aluminum for easy opening because of weight I think would be better and use square tubing for strength.

I've seen many an amish that just used a piece of plexiglass and no frame, hinges on one side and a magnetic catch on the other.

I would bet if you went to a glass company, they could build you an aluminum frame with hinges and plexiglass pretty cheap!

Went to satelite glass by my house and ask him about doing a frame for my skid steer and lex an he looked at me like I had 3 heads... I think I might be better off going to a shower door type of glass company they might have better tools and equipment to make frames ect since they make costum frames for shower doors.. So I'll give that a try if not I guess I'll go back to original plan.. Wip out the mig

I made one out of small angle iron and Plexiglas put some weather strip on the back and hold it shut with a small bungee cord the cloth covered type. I put flat stock cross pieces on each corner and a improvised handle to open and close it. It cost me 20 bucks and 2 hours of time and works great. It is not fancy but overall it does not look to bad.

Good thing your getting a heater, otherwise the door will fog up and you'll never see. That sounds like a good price for what your getting

I bought a door from cardinal canvas in Sioux Falls, SD it is a see through plastic with electric fence post type round bar for a frameand has a short bunge to hold shut. Works good im sure the would ship one. I th7nk it was around $160 for door and I think they make an entire cab kit as well. You should be able to google them for a number
