You can break the diamond segs,  and it's a lot easier in holes that are 2 inch or smaller.  You can still drill with one Seg missing if your careful.  Once u loose one Seg u have to move to a different spot or get a bigger bit to drill over the hole. Once one is broke off and broke off in the hole the bit won't be able to drill unless u can remove the diamond segment from the cut.  Causes of that can be a couple things.  Hand drilling and having the bit kinda off square. Eliminate that with a base, too high speed can do it and when u first hit bar it's best to start easy till you go though.

In bigger bits you can drill with several segs missing as long as there's not more than one in row in a spot. Actually usaully cuts faster

I like soft maple.  Smells nice, dries fast and burns clean enough.  I try to keep some just for bonfires.

If Feds where going to go after anyone it would be business. Don't have time to fool with  individuals.     But like I said.  EPA is toast.

Basically the state employees aren’t enforcing the law. Doesn’t mean its not in effect or doesn’t apply. Sooner or later the feds will withhold fed money to the states not enforcing the law, what happens to the people who installed non compliant stoves then is anybodies guess. I would not want to be the guy they make an example out of.

We have a guy in the area still building stoves in his garage, tells people since its “home made” his stoves are exempt, home made only applies to your own use, once you charge for em you are now a small manufacturer.

The Feds won't even withhold money to sanctuary cities who break federal immigration laws, (which may change with president trump)   Fed is not going to do nothing with trump in.   EPA is toast and so is there crap rules

Any rental store in the world will have a core drill to rent.  Do not use without water. Hand core drill are hard to run for a rookie and are only meant for up to a 6 inch bit.  They do rent them with bases u mount them on and anchor to floor or wall which will require a hammer drill and a concrete anchor.  They will rent u 110volt base mount core drill that can drill 10-12 inch holes pretty well with the right spacers on the drill which they will have took care of.  The right store may rent a vacumm seal base that seals to floor without anchor but does require a pretty smooth floor to seal too.    Otherwise your options are limited if your indoors as rental store will prolly not care hydraulic chainsaws or ring saws or the hydraulic pack needed to power it.   You can prolly get a electric hand saw which will cut 5 inch deep with a 14" blade.

Drilling a circle of small holes with a hammer drill, would prolly work but be a pain and if u had a pass threw rebar it would cause u trouble. If u went that route I would defiantly get a good size drill with the chip-n-hammer feature which works like a mini jack hammer. And a chisel bit as well as the drill bit.  Although u can chip with a bit.

We use a core bit for round hole in concrete but go through wall at sill area quite often. Hate coming up through floor, hitting rebar and the likes will ruin a core bit.

I sawed and cored concrete for a living for over 4 years.  Core bits are made to cut threw rebar and steel.  Will not ruin a bit at all.
Hand saws, Ring saws, chain saws, wall saws, wire saws, flat saws and core drills.  I've drilled serveral holes that were 36 inch diameter in waste water plants threw walls that are 12-18 inch thick with tons of huge bar

HeatMaster / Miss the smell

Idk if anyone else has same experience but back when I burned wood in my indoor stove or whenever I smell the smoke from anyone else's stove, I enjoy the smell.  The smooth hickory, creosote, smelling smoke.  My c250 smoke usually smells not nice while its burning.  Now when it quits and just wisps smoke out it smells ok.  I guess cause it's burning so hot the the good smelling smoke gets burned off.     Anyone got any ideas

Democrats are no longer the party or blue collar works.  It's nothing but liberal nut jobs, Harry reid, Liz warren, Bernie sanders,  Nancy Pelosi, Dick durbin and so on.

24
Harry Reid did do the nuclear option last year but that is not for everything. Senate still has to get 60 votes on certain things.  Not on nominees but on bills I believe they still need 60

As soon as trump gets in, he'll get rid of all those illegal executive actions of Obama and convention wood burners will be legal again id say

Term limits are fine and there are people in congress right now that also agree.  And once again if u want to clean house, vote them out

Thanks for the tips. The one I have is a $20 job the wife ordered from Amazon. So it's not that great prolly.  I used it to measure temp on outside of pex line in. Basement and I would get a 30 difference in most measurements everytime I took them in the same area and same distance.  It's dull in color.

That statement is terrible.  The president absolutely matters, they appoint the chief of law enforcement attorney general, the presidents appoints EPA officials and that directly effects everyone here, the president nominate Supreme Court judge and maybe judges which can effect our entire way of life for a long time if the Supreme Court was took over by a liberal majority. The president is the leader of the USA and can make us better or worse.  Obama has forced ICE to ignore immigration laws, makes dozens of illegal executive orders and get away with it. The list goes on.

And there are a lot of dictated congressmen that love this country and fight hard for everyone. There are a lot of congressmen that don't participate, miss work, and have crazy ideas.  If you don't like them vote them out.    No one is forcing these congressmen on anyone and there's only one way to clean out the bad ones.   VOTE

Rand Paul is already working on getting together a list of all the regulations Obama enacted through executive order, to have ready for trump to get rid of day one cause they were put in place unconstitutionally without congress.
Gutting the EPA will hopefully top of his list, prolly be able to buy a conventional owb again.
Maybe they can try pushing rights and second admendment ahead instead of just defending it, state wide conceal carry reproicity, and I would love to see suppressors a class 1 item that anyone could buy without tax stamp and huge prices and long waiting periods.

While he does have majority in congress, the first two years are the time to act before all the liberals come together and take the senate back, but it will be a tough road, in the senate republican have the majority but the founding fathers setup the senate up to be the cooler heads and they have to get 60/100 votes in order to move a bill forward to get voted on, unlike the house which is majority wins, so there will have to be 8-9 democrats come on board to get these things passed. So unlike Obama I'm hoping trump is going to set down with congress and work out deals.

That being said, I think trump is going to make some of hes voters mad and me too, cause In order to swing those democrat votes u have to make deals and I think he will be willing to deal to get something down. There going to have to pass something I don't like to get what I do , if not the democrats will strong arm him in the senate and block everything he wants. What do u think republicans have been doing for 6 years. Prime example is gun laws.  Democrats had majority in senate 54/100 and all these school shootings and killings went on, and no matter how hard they tried 44 republican voted to block every single new gun law from moving forward at all.

All that being said, this guy is just happy Killary lost

I would be curious to see the stack temps of my c250. I hVe a laser thermometer but i don't think it's very accurate. I would like to compare to g series.  I'm guessing it's cooler due to the fact that the thing only has a 3 inch tall chimney and they say the temp is so low cause the stove absorbs so much of the heat that any amount of extension to the pipe will cause condensation and drip water back inside the stove.
