Sidearm heat exchanger question
« on: May 22, 2013, 03:52:57 PM »

I have a question on how to go about putting a bypass line in so I can heat my hot water in the summer and bypass my furnace. not really sure how to go about it and what fittings and valves are involved.  I would really appreciate any input.

Just put two tees in the lines going to the heat exchanger. You will need a valve between the tees and at least one after between the heat exchanger and tees.
