The future
« on: May 06, 2020, 05:09:42 AM »

Hi guys, question here.  I had a customer wanting to trade in a Hardy stove the other day. He wanted to swap because he said his dealer said Hardy was shutting down. I don't know if there is any truth to this, not sure if I want to take in a unit with no support in the future.
Have any of you heard anything?
If it's not true I'll remove this post to avoid spreading rumors.

I've heard the same thing. Hardy is done building furnaces due to new EPA regulation requirements and shut down.

That's too bad, there are old Hardy units everywhere around here. Will they still offer parts? I've thought of keeping some on hand, things will wear out and I get calls for a lot of different brands now. Seems like no one offers service anymore.
