We will still be at all the shows we did last year except Halifax NS and Harrisburg PA, but this year will be a bit different for us though as we will be featuring a few different manufacturers.

Just threw this together today, will be at County Line Consignment heating their office with a G100 Saturday the 11th of February. That Saturday is the usual hay/firewood/egg auction followed up by consigned items till the “stuff is gone".

Normally start the auction at 10AM eastern time, may start earlier on the 11th if they have a lot of “stuff”.

Getz Brothers Auctioneers

Wakarusa, IN. 46573

If nothing else and you need eggs, firewood or hay show up anyways, I’ve been going for over thirty years now, started out in high school hauling fathers hay. I like the continuity of it, some guys that buy from me now for their own livestock may have started coming to the auction when their Daddy bought from me and they were no higher than his knee.

Went reasonably well considering, owner of the place was supposed to supply a thermostat like used with a salamander, claimed to have several of em, him and a helper searched for hours and no thermostat, so against my better judgement and advice he went and left the heat running full blast all night then only added a few pieces of wood to the G100 before heading to bed instead of filling it like I told em. I was there a little after 8, had 61 degree water, probably hit at least 90 in that office before it ran out of wood. Zero insulation, is actually part of an old barn that they took the stanchions out of and finished in knotty pine tongue and grove after power washing all the original wood. If it was me I would have placed at least one inch form board between the layers of wood for a little insulation. Zero insulation in the ceiling either which is the floor for the hay loft.

Stove was well on its way past 100 degrees before anybody else started showing up and was producing heat again before the start at 10AM.

Well it appears that corporate doesn't really want to take the stock back that I have here in my yard and since I'm on the hook for it I guess I'll be forced to take it to my shows and sell them at a greatly reduced price, when they are gone my life will get back to normal, I want that so come on out to the Bangor Maine logging expo on May 19-20 to get a very good price!

Your fairs have gotten just as ridiculous as ours, except our county fair runs a full ten days now….

I keep thinking about doing our county fair, they have indoor spots in the AC so the wife could tolerate it, except it runs the week of Independence Day and I have other commitments I’d rather keep.

I saw the B500 on the trailer in Winkler this spring. How do you pull enough heat off to make it run? That's a lot of heat to dump.
Enormous potential in burning ag waste. Should generate a lot of interest.

We swap out with another dealer, but yeah, 10 days is long. I like a two or three day show.

Good day at the WV state fair. Robert sold a G100. Lots of lookers, lots of talk of change-out's. Had a good time.

I hope they did the plumbing much simpler than the one i've seen.  even us dealers can't understand some of the plumbing.

I’d like to have a truck like that some day, it would be great for around the farm as well. Only concern I have if it’s wet around here once the tires are off the drive forgot it.

We had them send ours bare with no plumbing and plumbed it ourselves. Now it matches what they can expect when we install. Nice setup there!  My family wonders why all other dealers have nicer trucks than I have.

Did they get rid of the idea of pinning the axles and removing them at shows? somebody thought that one through real well!
Title: Re: HeatmasterSS 2017 show schedule
Post by: E Yoder on August 14, 2017, 03:52:02 AM
Yes, they went to a smaller tire instead. So now you can just back in, jack it up, pull the tongue and fill with water and fire.

Obviously Whoever thought of that pinning and removing the axles never set up or broke down an outside show in the rain.

I take it the thought there was to get it closer to the ground when displayed?

Need to set it up like an ice fishing trailer, but then the wheels would have to be on the outside of the sides of the trailer, least the few I’ve seen are.

My thought would be that if you can't or are to lazy to climb up one step then the chances of you needing an outdoor wood boiler are pretty slim!

This kinda came up at a discussion yesterday at our post picnic. With farming as mechanized now as it is, the only real exercise I get is cutting firewood or doing water changes in the wife’s aquariums.

Got the okay from the Fire Marshall today, will have a live burn at the Marshall County Blueberry Festival.  He really like the Heatmaster show trailer.

Glad he approved it, only waited around 4 1/2 hours for him to show up as the volunteer had it wrong on what day he was gonna do inspections. Didn’t want to wait till Friday morning as I wasn’t gonna haul a tote of water and firewood to it unless I knew I could run it, and all vehicles have to be out of the festival by 10am Friday morning.

Meh, I avoid steps at all costs if possible, makes the knees hurt. Maybe if it looks like a nasty winter I’ll actually go see an orthopedist. If not then soldier on, they’ve been making funny noises the better side of a decade, whats a few more years right?

We haven't had any issues with burning at any of the shows we've done. Here are a few pics of our Labor Day weekend flea market in Hillsville, VA. Supposedly the biggest on the east coast. Pretty wet today so the heat will feel pretty good.
