I knew something wasn't right! I have never had this happen before.
Looks like I have a bit of work to do, before winter hits. I'll let you know what I come up with.
As far as having problems heating the hot water to the house with the water temp. set at 130, no problem.  I can only get away with it when it's chilly at night, not cold.  I do this only in the early and late season.
When it gets cold I run the water temp. up accordingly.

Thanks for the help, I'm on it.

WoodMaster / Power to Woodmaster turned off, water temp still climbing?
« on: October 27, 2010, 12:41:22 PM »
This will be my fourth winter for my woodmaster 4400, and I love it!
It's been getting chilly at night so I have been running it, no problems.
Had a storm coming with 60mph wind gusts so, I turned off the fan and even killed power to the woodburner in the morning before I left for work.  The water temp was set on 130.
I got home from work, turned on the power and noticed smoke from the chimney.
The water temp was 175!  Is this because the wind was blowing so hard and fanning the fire?!
Or do I have something else going on?

Thanks for your help

Mine was included too.  The biggest thing is learn how to use it! It's easy, and it will save you alot of wood!
