CB 2300 or 2400

Have the option to buy a 2 year old 2300 for $9000 brand new never used from the dealer or a 2400 for $10900 i know that the 2300 had some problems.  The dealer told me that this is a newer 2300 and a lot of those issues had been addressed he did admit that the 2400 had some upgrades.  Is there any reason that I would regret the 2300 purchase trying to save some money but not at the expense of efficiency( is there a big difference in efficiency?) or future problems.  Thanks for any info you could give me
