RidgeWood Stoves, defunct, support only / new stoves!
« on: September 20, 2015, 06:47:04 AM »
Just for fun I went on the website and I noticed new stoves! It looks like they have a different mid sized stove and they also have duel fuel stoves and even a top loader! It looks like Ridgewood is doing well, I'm still happy with my 6000 but the coal option on the new stoves do make me jealous.

I am so not ready. We are going to be in high 40s tonight here in wisconsin. There is a pallet place down the road from me I think I'm going to see if I can buy scrap pieces. I didn't have or make time this summer. I'm going to be screwed this winter.

I just got off the phone with the lady at Ridgewood, she will be getting one out to me early next week. The people at Ridgewood really go out of there way to make sure that all your questions are answered and they are more than helpful. Great experience so far!

I just have a heaping pile of wood and move it with the skid loader when I need more by the stove. This spring I will stack it by the stove so it dries better.

Green wood is my problem as well. It's so sad when you get home and your Temps are low and you just had a smoldering fire all day. Pictures anyone? I called last night to order one, I will try again later today to get one ordered up.

I totally have my old jacket in the basement garage like many of you. I like the smell, lots of people comment on my smokey smell but deep down inside I know that they like it.
