HOLY CRAP, 5AM was just a dusting, 6:15 and I just went down to the shop to check the boiler, the wind had blown open the small door, the 250 was down to just a few coals and the shop now has about 3 inches of snow on the floor 6 feet in from the open door, OH well at least the Cat fired right up!

They were predicting 10 to 18 in my area.  I just got to work and perhaps 2 inches of snow on the roads.  They have since revised their predictions to 3 to 5 inches.  That's not a snowstorm, that's an inconvenience.

So far they are right on for my neck of the woods, must have a foot and still dropping, although I talked to my brother, maybe 15 miles away and he doesn't have but 5-6 inches.

Mental note to self " always put tire chains on tractor on Dec 1st".    Must be 18" anyway. Had to give the Duramax a little push with the tractor so I could get buy it to plow.
