ask the tree triming companys around you. one around me will dump in my driveway for gas money cheaper than driving and cutting myself.still have to drive and cut about half.. it helps

i was wondering about this have a place near me that grinds all there wood   to shavings and has a magnet that takes the metal out did not know if it would burn or smolder mostly pine but that should not make a problem. do you think?

pine burns fine and nice and hot, but no bed of coals, tried wet, dry, split, whole, 8 hrs later have to relight. so now put one shovel of coal on top and gives me some coals to get reloaded and will restart its self..  only 2nd winter still learning....
