Anyone ever have creosote drip out around the door seal?  It's not gettin air around it but black creosote drips some.

 Is it on a NC stove? Normally any dripping problems are solved by running the furnace harder to burn up the creosote.

yep on an NC, i figured out what it was.   I'm burning at a really low temperature of 150..   It's doing great but I through in a couple pieces of green wood and it caused some creosote.  But last night I went back to seasoned wood and the dripping stopped.

I have found that the best way to burn green wood is to keep the temp up around 180.

Yup, I will agree with that..  If its green wood you had better run your temperature on up in that range. 

Most all of my wood is well seasoned.  I still have it set on 150 and its performing flawlessly on dry wood.

 I normally run mine at 150 or 160 until it starts getting cold and then I bump it up a bit. I always like feeling really hot heat coming out the vents when its cold outside.

Yea...  I have a little laser gun and the air heats the inside of my register to 112-115 right now.   I'm hoping that with seasoned wood I wont have to go over 160-165 this winter.  At least that is the plan

Yeah Ive had a creosote drip..Seems like it was cause by buring green or wet wood during warmer temps..Had to replace the door gasket..
