The heating season started here tonight
« on: September 29, 2008, 06:57:04 PM »

At about 6:30 I removed the blower from the indoor furnace ,cleaned the blower wheel and oiled the motor.

Put things back together, put wood in the OWB and lit it off for the season.Won't need much heat but will make DOM hot water though. At 7:15 the water temp. was 65deg.F and at 8:30 it was up to 175deg.F Everything looks good to go.

building a fire here (in ontario canada) nightly also for the past week...just to take the morning chill off...and  have the infloor heat in the basement warming the floor to about 75..no heat on upstairs yet as daytime temps are still  warm but domestic water is now being mostly heated by the OWB....not looking  forward to winter but when it gets here I'll be rrrready..lol
