Here is my 6048 with same size car port. Should of made the car port bigger. Added sides to keep more of the snow and rain off when wind is blowing. Added lights for night time fills.

Slim, the pic with no sides is from last fall and the pic with sides is a couple months ago. 8 inches on the ground now.

That is a nice idea, checked with american family insurance and stove has to be a min of 10ft from wood or 25ft from insured structure

pwdiver - You can also resize your pics by going to Google and type in "image resizing"  There's a free downloadable program called "image resize".  After you have the program downloaded, right click on the pic and select image resize where it'll open and you can change the size of the pic.  Save the changes.  Then upload the changed pic to the site.  I hope this helps.  Roger

That's crazy.  Everybody I know puts their wood as close as possible to their boiler.  Mine is behind the boiler and not by the door.

Here is a picture of the front. I now have a black mesh tarp sold at Harbor Frieght strung across the opening like a shower curtain. It helps with the blowing snow getting in on the wood.

I am going to have to put a cover or partial wall on the back of my carport to keep the snow from blowing in. :)
