hey all, is there anyone else like myself who needs a 8000 model, my house is almost 5000 sq feet including garage, my 5000 unit works alittle hard during the cold months, however the 10,000 would be over kill, wish there was a solution....don't get me wrong the 5000 heats the house, but im always checking on it making sure its full and watching the zones in the house, sometimes even manipulating them, not really a big deal , but im sure a bigger unit would take care of the worries abit...

Heatmaster does make a unit between the two now. The C375 is 375,000btu while the MF5000 was 250,000btu and the MF10,000 was 500,000btu. I'm hooking a C375 to my home this summer.

really, i didnt know this Yodder, is this a new model or has it been out for awhile now...

First it was called a 6000 and then last year they changed some things and went to the C models. I believe Scott burned one for awhile.

I've been thinking about selling my 5000 and getting a C375 for a little while. I like some of new features on the c model.

5000e can also stand a slightly bigger work load than a standard 5000.
