Hardy / Re: Water heater
« on: April 10, 2008, 10:46:55 AM »
Most hardy's the hot water is heated inside the boiler itself.  If you look at the picture in this link (below) you can see the domestic hot water coil the water heats up while it runs through this coil then back into your hotwater tank.

Cory,
Who are you getting your woodmaster from?

Farley Logging.  Out of Gallia County.  Why do you ask?

Is thermopex what the woodmaster dealers are selling?  I didn't ask the guy I am getting mine from what "brand" it was.

Has anyone put gravel under there pipe to keep water from laying around the pipe?

picture site?

After doing some looking around we have 2 options:
1.  I can install one that embeds itself into the forum, and uses your existing username and password.  This one is not very feature rich and is a little less user friendly.

2.  I can install one that would be a stand-alone gallery which has a lot of features and is a little more user friendly.  This one would require you to re-register for an account in the gallery.

Thoughts?

If you want to hide your email address:
- Open up your profile but using the link right below the main logo.
- Then click “account related settings”.
- Check the “hide email address from public” box.
- Remember to enter you current password in the last box and then click “change profile” button.  To save your settings.
A couple of notes on hiding your email address.
- Everyone’s email address is hidden from guests.
- After you hide your email address you will still be able to see it because it is your account but it is hidden from all other users (except administrators and moderators of the site.)

To create/post new topic:
- Open the forum that is related to your topic.
- Then click the “new topic” link either at the top or bottom of the list of topics.
- Then you will enter in the subject and the body of your topic.

If you want an email notification of replies to your topic click the “Additional Options” link right below the text box and check the “notify me of replies” box.
- If you want the text of the reply to be in the email:
     - Open up your profile but using the link right below the main logo.
     - Then select the “notifications and email” link in the middle box on the left side of the screen.
     - Then check the box “When sending notification of a reply to a topic, send the post in the email (but please don't reply to these emails.)”
     - Then click the “save settings” and that is it.

If you want to subscribe to an existing topic:
- Open up the topic you want to subscribe to and then click the “notify” link and then click “ok” on the message box.  Now you will receive an email if someone replies to that topic.

Site Suggestions / Main Site
« on: March 27, 2008, 10:37:33 AM »
I created a .PDF document out on the main site (http://www.outdoorwoodfurnaceinfo.com) of a Hardy H-2 setup.  If anyone else is interested in creating some similar documents please feel free and then you can email them to me (admin@outdoorwoodfurnaceinfo.com) and I will post them to the main site.  I think these might be helpful to individuals learning about setups and how outdoor wood burners work and function.

If anyone has any suggestions for the main site please let me know.  I am working on making main site, right now it is just plain.

What type of info would you like to see on the main site?
