:bash: :bash: too bad the crops are not in the  bin  yet

Ditto here, neither combine has done anything in a week. More snow today and it's seriously colder.

Did get my stalk bales baled and wrapped though. baled about 30 before ripping a lot of teeth off the round baler pickup. Replaced those the next morning, just got started then the rain came. Had Dad run the eight foot Bushhog over the rows we intended to bale. Normally just disengage the spreaders and run the baler right behind the combine, stalks seemed a lot tougher this year. Run stalk stompers on the head but just may start using the Bushhog all the time, easier on the baler and it made a lot heavier bales being the stalks were pre shredded. Most ran between 1200 and 1500lbs. Started wrapping them and got one row of 75 done, finished balling the rest as the snow started coming in. Next day had to use the leaf blower to blow the snow off the remaining 75 before we could wrap them.

Everything about this year has been craptacular.
