Fired up the wood furnace!..Everytime amazed that one match is gonna heat my house and hot water for the next 7 months..OWB's kick ass!
-
Awesome.I can't wait till mine is doing the same thing

Yea even after its warmed back up here its very gratifying to know that a couple pieces of wood per day are heating my hot water and keeping the house warm at night.
I'm looking forward to some cold weather actually haha. I'm thinking i'm going to use my ncb175 all year around. For no more wood than it seems to take to provide endless hotwater, Ialmsot feel silly not doing it. With a family of 4 and my calculations of hot water use, we could be paying as much as $100 per month in heating water alone!

I am up and running now :)

I run mine all year. Takes very little effort to heat for hot water . Still look at it every other day but doesn't need much wood. I use all junk wood. Pine is everywhere.

Yeah pine is everywhere..I get a kick out of when some sell pine for OWB users..Id never pay for pine..I got a buddy that runs his furnace all yr long.. It is very little effort for hot water.Id run mine all yr long if i was more secluded..
