Finally got to clean my DHW coils.

Yep, ours is nasty as well except usually reddish orange from the iron. My boiler side of the FPHX is staying pretty clean now that they’ve been flushed several times and still using the same water.

nice!!!! Putting the 250 back in service today??? definitely a good time to flush the exchangers
