 No I'm not ready at all. I still have second cutting of hay to cut and I don't have a furnace installed in my new home yet.

Me either. My Logstor is buried but that's it. Hoping to have my boiler in place in a couple of weeks. I have about 70% of my install inside done so far. Not enough hours in the day. Lol

I've got my wood supply ready.  I just got my new stove set in place last weekend.  I'm going to be replacing my underground lines in a couple weeks.  I'm ready to start a fire in this new stove though!

I actually saw one already lit the other day. The only problem with lighting them so early is when the day time temps get warm so dosen`t the house. Whats the easiest way to cure this?

Glad to hear I'm not the only one behind! Just went down to the dealer last night to look at my boiler hope to have it by next weekend!

Im more than ready!!! Just got a nother dump load trailer full of ash friday. Now its off to slave for mom and dad till the winter!

Been wet there as well? Or is two a year normal for your area?

First field I made end of May I should have got five cuttings off, will mow third tomorrow on it if the forecast holds. Another that I should have got 4 on I'll get three if the weather is good middle of the month. Another 57 that I should have got 3 on will only get two and the last 35 I made first cutting the third week of July I only planned on two. Be the first time in a long time I won't have all my buildings full. Normally I have at least 1100 round bales under cover.

 We had a sorta dry July and then a very wet Aug. A lot of my hay we cut once and then stockpile for fall grazing. Only about 75 acres to cut this fall.

My summer has been great. I installed my stove a few weeks ago and so far have about 5 full cord of all oak stack up. Luckily I'm only heating 1100sq ft total but I'm still looking to prepare more just in case.

Wood Situation:

  I have just shy of 20 cords of various wood cut.  Quite a bit of ash and some elm, maple and oak.  Some willow, spruce and pine in a separate pile split as much as possible to dry it out.  I have to keep my wood dry so its all covered in black plastic right now.  I am not happy with the arrangement but I was pretty busy at work and with the install this summer to build a wood enclosure to boot.  I still have not decided which way to go with wood storage so I think I will just feel it out this season.  I have quite a bit of ash that is 10-12 percent moisture and it is piled closest to the boiler.  Probably 10 cords of it.
  I am running my floor loops, installing my coil and mounting my manifolds tomorrow.  I should be wrapped up in the next week or so.

The shed is full. I'm good to go. But I have two friends that have decided to install boilers so I'll be busy helping them.

I'm good and ready. I have an 18'x21' carport clear heaping full. On each side length ways I have a row of wood staked 6' high. This spring I replace my underground line with thermopex.  My old line was in 10' sections and getting some water in when it rained. Will be anxious to see how much better my furnace will run. I'm kinda looking forward to cold wheather to try it out.
