New garage concrete floor protection.

I just had my 28x40 new garage floor poured two weeks ago. I am wondering about any expierence with concrete protection against mostly road salts and oils. Not interested in going the epoxy route or anything. I am in New England so we have road salts that will be dropping on the floor and my mechanical hobbies so oil splatter at times and weld slag etc. I had looked at the legacy international silax seal. Also looked at concrete sealers USA ps101 product. I would like to spend around 250. Ghost shield I looked at which looks like the best quality but it would be $600.

Come on Honda, you are a young man, invest in the best product you can buy and enjoy it for many years to come, you did it with your boiler and install, give you new garage the same treatment!

Polyurea would work great, but at around $10 soft would be pricey.

Haven't done anything to mine since being built.

Yeah the poly urea looks nice but is pricey. I really don't mind the look of power trolled concrete, just don't want the salt to screw it up and don't want it to be all oil stained badly(I don't have anything that leaks, just oil change splatter etc).

I plan to buy a horse stall rubber mat to park the tractor on so the chains don't chew up the concrete. Do you have a lot of salt that you get on your cars from winter driving? How about oil drops on the concrete? Please forgive my ignorance about concrete floors, I've never owned a garage.

First off its not big enough, never is.     Salt, calcium chloride, leave a stain, but after a few days its gone, same with oil, speedy dry it

only thing that ever damaged our concrete floor in the shop was battery acid , etched into the concrete. otherwise anything else will come off pretty easy. never sealed it with anything. We usually keep a piece of cardboard around for oil changes or leaky tractors.
