Isnt that true  I think that a very large percentage of politicians are in it for what ever works for them never mind what the people that voted them in want.
I just received my insurance renewal yesterday and a big increase, no reason in the world for the increase, going to talk to the agent tomorrow.

Central Boiler / Re: Dealer in Central Ohio

FF119,
I bought my HeatMaster form Hartland Energy in Ohio, Scott is the dealer owner. Really good people to work with. Ive only been using my 5000E for 4 months and have really been impressed with it. Getting long burn times with not so seasoned wood. Don't think you can go wrong with CB or HeatMaster,  I just didn't want a natural draft OWB.

General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / Loss of BTUs from DHW
« on: February 21, 2015, 08:59:32 PM »
I read on someones post that DHW draws a huge amount of BTUs, if so is there a way to measure the BTU loss before entering the heat exchanger. If that's a fact why would you not run to the  heat exchanger first.

HeatMaster / Re: Winkler Manitoba

Slim, great post. Im looking forward to hearing more about the HeatMaster plant. This is my first year with a OWB and so far Im really happy with the HeatMaster. I did some calculations and have right at 3700 sf ft of area Im heating. Think that's pushing limit of the 5000E. The nights that we have had below O temps and wind chill of -25 + house stayed 70 and comfortable with 10 and 11 hour burns with not so season wood. Cant ask more of my HeatMaster 5000E. Think you made a good move, they make a great OWB.

I have a Heatmasterr also, only regret I have I wish I had bought a 10,000 E or 20,000 E  Are they the very best OWB don't know but I would  buy one again,

General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / Re: Keeping fire burning
« on: January 16, 2015, 12:47:33 PM »
That's exactly what has happen, Had a good base this morning Filled at 8:30 last night and 8:00 this morn it had burn down to nothing but some coals so I put some large blocks in. No demand I guess and by 1:00 it wasn't relighting. Most of the wood I have is a little green, but your suggestions was I looking for.
