JUST GOT NEW 4400 AND HAVE IT INSTALLED BUT HAVE NOT FIRED YET.HOPE I HAVE BETTER LUCK WITH WOODMASTER THAN SHAVER
-
fired stove up today every thing running well.when fan is running getting small amount of smoke coming from bypass rod and door handle is this normal for this stove
-
Bypass door I think is normal, door latch, no it should not leak, try adjusting the door tighter.
-
Climber,,How do like the stove .
How's the wood consumption??
cheers kk
-
love the stove 100 percent upgrade from what i had.much better burn times and less wood consumption.i dont have to add water ether
-
Tree climber I have the 4400 also and I do get smoke out of the bypass rod and my door handle did leak a little the first week of use but it stopped.
Couple things to keep on hand the rubber flapper for the blower motor and door rope. That's the only things I have had to change in 6 years running.
I also have a spare blower and spare pump on hand. Don't want to be stuck when its 20 outside and no heat.
-
yea i keep spare pump and blower silenoild but need to get flapper and rope. great not to add water every three days
-

I had a similar unit to the shaver it's worth spending a few more bucks and doing right..

I am using a shaver now, and debating what I will do when it is time to get another one. Would I even bother to do it or not. I am so frustrated with shaver, their customer service is the worst - worse than you can possibly imagine. How long did you have your shaver and why did you go with this 4400?

tell us how you really feel d5knapp :)
Hope the woodmaster is working great.
