So some folks on this forum a while back were looking for a place to get silicone permeated door gasket rope for outdoor boilers. This last year we've switched from the standard braided gasket material to one precoated with a high temperature silicone product. This should help the gasket stay soft and keep a good seal for longer. We've added a door gasket kit, including this rope, to our web store.

The kit also comes with a tube of high temperature silicone for gluing it in

Grabbed one from you, had it on my old stove and never had a problem after I adjusted it the first time. This adjusting the door all the time is a pain. I can't make it to snug or the wife cant close the door. It is really hard stuff to find.

We order it from an outfit overseas. Comes on a huge roll.

How frequently should a door gasket be changed?
Probably no point changing it until it's not sealing up properly. A few of the first things you'll notice could be creosote building up on the fire box, smoke leaking out around the door or issues with overheating.
