As I have said in another post I got a Hardy H2 used last year. I buried 4 lines from the stove to the house, 2 for heat and 2 for DHW. during the hook up I found that the coil in the top of the water jacket for the DHW was bad. A dealer told me that it was a 60 foot coil of copper pipe. I am sure that the stove has been frozen at some time in the past so I think the copper is split.
My question is get some different views on replacing the copper or just adding a plate heater at the 40 gallon tank.
My H2 is 200 + feet from the house and I run the pump 24/7 during heating season.
Thanks for your ideas.
