located in mo. prices seem good, what about quality & operation.  ?  anyone have one of there units that can give some feed back.

going to get a unit this month , need it to heat @ 8k. sq. ft. +  house & pole barn.  anyone have a unit that is heating that much sq. ft. or more & with who`s unit.
your feed back & suggestions are greatly appreciated.

depending on where in the country you live it is said in many heat load calculators that you will need between 30 and 50 btu per square foot to heat your home i believe (but i am not sure) that this is the required btu needed on the coldest day  of the year (their average)


looking on the net you can find that a 2000 square foot home that is decently insulated will require about 100,000,000 btu for a heating season so if you just took that number and made it to fit your 8000 square feet it would be  about 400,000,000 btu for a heating season

if you look up something like "how many btu to heat my home) on a google search you can likley find many interesting things to read and you can draw your own conclusions as to what they all really mean.

I just bought the Earth Woodsman 405. I haven't got the install complete yet, hopefully this week. I liked the price and seems to be good quality. I also have a local dealer.

Im just south of Wilmington. The dealer is in Wilmington, his name is Eric Cockman his number is on their website. Mine should be hooked up this week. Where are you at in Ohio Candyman?
