I'm in the middle of doing just that , I bought clamp on forks for my front loader and then found pallets for 1.00 apiece, put 2 side by side, couple 2x4s to put them together and some old 4x4 for bottom to keep it up off the ground , with a good load on it even with a box scraper or a bushhog on back the front is top heavy, but its great for moving wood after splitting , only pick it up once, deliver the whole pallet right in front of the stove and leave it there . I have 3 of these for the front now i move in and out
I found a set of hay spears for the 3 pt hitch that have 2 level forks almost like a carry all for the 3 pt hitch , I'm going to do the same thing there and see if that wont balance out the weight a bit
best thing is it will give me an excuse to finally purchase that hydraulic top link for the 3 pt hitch
