I was cleaning the boiler out and let it burn down till water temp of 70f . outside temp was 23f . Ok started fire wood 1/2 dry oak
so I build fire maybe 6 -24 inch pieces 10 inch dia. 4 - 52 inch pieces 4 inch dia. I got it to go from 70f to 140f in 27 minutes flat . I timed it using the front temp gauge . Yes I had crazy sparks coming out chimney . But think that's 170 gallons raising 70 degrees in 27 minutes . That is some crazy Dragon action . That's 2.59 degrees a minute . Don't forget thats all air ex changers fans on x3 and baseboards, water heater . that's pulling water temp down on top of that. To me that's some crazy heating power . Bit like a drag race Dragon style .

P.s. to start fire I just used gallon can of wood chips and 2 news papers that's it .
