Outdoor Wood Furnace Info

I saw some talk about this under another heading, but wanted to bring it to this heading because more people seem to use it.
Would it be possible to install 1000 feet of pex 4 feet below the surface, fill with water/antifreeze, install pump and pump it thru the existing heat exchanger that we use for our Wood Furnace and cool the house in the summer time? The ground is suppose to be about 55 degrees at this depth year round so the water inside the pex would cool before running thur the heat exchanger.
There was some discussion on sweating, but I'm sure you could install a drain for that. It could be tied into the OWF using the same pump and water storage or used without the OWF. Just buy the pex, pump and T-stat
This idea seems to be a great one and was wondering what you guys think.

It won't work, leaves your home really damp feeing.
I've thought about it but everything I've researched says it fails because of 2 different air types in the house and alll kinds of riggamaro! Lol

Isn't this the same way "Geothermal" cooling works?

Yes, but there is a lot more to it than that. It also runs much cooler than 55 and pulls a lot more moisture out of the air in the home, if you've ever left your windows up at night and feel the damp sheets on your bed that's what your whole home wood feel like

I think it "can work" it's just it would entail a lot more than simply running the water through the lines.
