Title: She's tucked in
Post by: Roger2561 on November 09, 2017, 07:27:21 AM
Well, it is officially fall.  Last week I tucked the motorcycle in for the cold seasons; new oil and oil filter, gas treatment in the tank, battery in the basement of my house and she covered over.  However, on my way to work this morning I past a hearty soul on a Harley.  Either that's all he has for transportation, is stubborn and doesn't want to give in too fast, or he's simply glutton for punishment; whatever it is, it had to be damned cold on that thing this morning with temps around 20 F.  Thankfully I outgrew that stupidity.  Roger

One of mine is still tucked in from last season almost. Only rode the poor thing twice for a total of 72 miles this year. Bought a brand new one on mother's day which I rode home from the dealership 110 miles away and currently has 242 on the odometer. They've both been napping peacefully in the climate controlled shop since July. Makes me sick every time I walk past them

"Climate Controller Shop", mine is far from it but it keeps the snow off of it.
