Plumbing / geospring water heater

I am considering replacing my oil hot water heater with a GE Geospring Hybrid hot water heater. I currently have my heat exchanger (20-plate) plumbed in before my water heater. Can I do the same thing on the Geospring without causing issues to the heatpump?

I hate snakes. Have a ruger single six i carry for vermin control in and around the barn. Does a fine job taking care of the ones that like to sun themselves on the tops of the woodpiles.
But down by the river when im mowing i see them big ole water snakes, sometimes 6ft long. So fat I cant even suck them into the blades of zero turn, even with 36 horses of Vanguard sucking power.
I really like the xd-s and was thinking 9mm but shotshells im guessing would work best with a revolver. Would i be better off setting my sights on a .357?

Cleaning the tubes on the gx10 have become a real pain in the a$$. The tool provided with the furnace got stuck in the tubes (where they horseshoe around) for the second time in 2 weeks.
