That's a long way to go.
I had rather put in the $10 stuff and do it one time rather than do the cheap stuff and have to do it over again.
Just my thoughts!

I would have to agree with jerkash..You gotta spend the money for the right piping..Fork up the money, buy the right piping and do it once. You will wished  that you should of spent the extra money  if you decide to do it the cheap way.. I knew a guy who did it the "home depot" way..Nothing but heat loss to the ground..Piping sucked, etc..My thoughts as well!

I think one of our member dealers (or maybe more) can beat that price for you on the brand they carry. I made my own but that was before I saw the prices that were mentioned on here and it cost me about the same to do it myself for a lesser quality pipe.
(just my 2 cents)

Most DIY pex doesn't work very good and is a lot of work. I think you would be better off just going with a good 3 wrap if you want it cheap. You should be able to get it for under $4.50 per foot.

I kind of relate it back to the building of a house, you can either pay for a lot of insulation up front, or pay for it every year you use the OWB.  By the way make sure you have the lawnmower blade nice and sharp so you can mow the grass above the line in January, just kidding - I hope.
