Natures Comfort NCB80, has a honeywell aquastat, Dayton fan, simple reliable parts. No junky snap discs or anything like that, this one is a finished boiler.
Produces up to 110,000btu, will easily heat homes from 2-3000 sq feet, but not over that.

I don't like to use the forum to promote my personal brands, but do feel this is a good chance for someone to save some money on a great EPA phase 2 boiler. I know times are tough and folks need to save every penny they can!

Legend / Door problems?

I had a customer here today with a legend, said they had had air leak issues with the door since day 1, said they've replaced gaskets and such but can't get it fixed, said legend just offers more rope
Has anyone experienced this? Customer is wanting me to fix it and I'm wondering if there could be another issue causing this

For those of you out there who would like to have your water tested, I am going to be offering this service for $14.95
This is not a simple ph test, this test will measure the conductivity of the water, check the nitrite levels, ph analysis, and more.
I am offering this to forum members and folks in general because there is so much bad information out there in regards to water testing. There is much more to checking boiler water than sticking a strip into the water.

Equipment / Just ordered my Fiskars x27 splitting axe

I have a small fiskars hatchet that I love. So decided to order the x27. Good to have laying by the wood shed and if I really get ambitious I may use it to split most of my wood.
I had a friend helping me cut wood last year and when we were in red oak 24" diameter, he could split it with a regular maul into 6-8 pieces before I got the next piece cut off with a 038 magnum lol. Wish he was always up for splittin wood

Wow, what an event!
I went to every owb booth incognito to learn about each product and how they market it.
I can only say I feel sorry for the consumers, there is no way possible anyone could decipher that much hot air. Everyone claims the best and backs it up with little useful information. Being someone who deals with this stuff daily it's easy to ask the right questions and see if there willing to lie and all do. I was impressed with Troy franzen's empyre booth and the portage and main guys.
