This seems to be a local outfit. Distribution was probably limited to MI. Mine looks to have been installed in 1997 and they went out of business around 2016, so they had a decent run.

Try loading it for 12 hours at a time and that should greatly reduce creosote buildup.
Look at it this way:
100lbs of 20% wood is actually 80 lbs of wood and 20 lbs of water or roughly 2 1/2 gallons of water.
100lbs of 15% wood is actually 85 lbs of wood and 15lbs of water or two gallons roughly.
In your case 14% wood is 86 lbs of wood and 14lbs of water or just under two gallons.
If you load for twelve hour burns, your only adding half the water at loading time.
Look at it this way:

Another member cut a nozzle out of cutting edge material for his G series and has been using it for a year now.
The nozzles in the new G Series are made out of 1/2” 409 stainless steel plate.

You have to take some advertising with a grain of salt, I’m sure they took great pains to actually stick those turbolaters.
I’ve not had a set stick yet, not even the ones on a stove the owner did literally everything wrong that could be done wrong.

If your doing everything correctly there should be no smoke past the nozzle, turbolators still get dirty bit its from flyash, not smoke.
Id suggest a 100% 409 stainless model, either HeatMaster or Crown Royal.
It boils down to which brand has a dealer in your area that you feel comfortable with, a good dealer can make or break any brand of boiler.

I’m betting 10PSI is way too high, too much pressure will lock the gas valve closed if I remember right. We had a portable LP salamander that was always a trick to light, a new regulator solved it. Always a two person job, one guy held the pilot knob down while trying to light it and the other very slowly opened the valve on the 100lb tank, opened it too fast and would never light.

« on: October 03, 2020, 07:32:13 PM »Nevermind, found an old post recommending not to, and furnace parts have only gotten more sensitive I'm sure.
Will make room above the AC coil, and put in union's and valves to remove heat exchanger in summer.
Or Eldon turned me onto this, you can get a freeze protection control that attaches to the return line out of the A coil or can even just place it on the HX but if it gets below 40F it cycles the compressor off for awhile.
