Acquired my outer skin. Still need to take it apart and move it. But the price is right.

General Discussion / Re: Important Message
« on: February 04, 2012, 07:57:16 PM »Thanks Phinphan
As a very new member I really appreciate all that you have created here.
I have been on other forums where the transfer of owners has either gone sour or taken longer than expected. So I am offering this as a temporary back up for us to stay in contact with each other in case something happens.
http://owfi.freeforums.org/index.php?sid=13cd60908a35fedc49dd65e6a03411b1
I have absolutely no intentions of this becoming permanent. I for one do not have the knowledge or time needed to run a forum.
So either jump in and say hey or book mark it just in case. I will eventually just lock it up after posting the link to the new and improved, REAL OWFI
No I am NOT the new owner of the real place!

curious about this.
How is the crud backing up into the air box? On low fire (no fan) is there a bypass around the reaction chamber? Or is everything still supposed to go down through it? That is about the only way that I can see it getting that far back. I sure would like to see a pic of the inside of that box if you take the cover off again.
: )
Thanks!
P.S. Stainless sheet metal type screws are only coated with st. st. IIRC
Best to coat them with some thing.
edited to add: what kind of dimensions does that nozzle have? Is it just cast into the cement ie no metal.

Thanks!
I have decided not to use the stainless at all. As of this week I have been cleared to return to work so hopefully once I finish drawing this up I will get a start on it. Most of my projects go real slooooooow.

Guessing that he does not need a second pump for lift. My thought was to keep them separated for easier servicing/replacement of the original. I like the idea of the aqua-stat. Good thinking!
