This is the G200 with the sticking damper? If so, just spray WD40 on it so it can soak in between the plates as much as possible. Should free it up and work till you have time to clean it.

ATF lasts better. I've used it several times.
I'm burning year round, no break for my GS100.
Dad showed me a picture of your building going up Dylan. Impressive, that'll make a boiler chew through wood.

I lubed it up with ATF at the beginning of the season, didn't have any issues until it started to go 4-6 hours idle at a time. I just loaded it up for its last time with a bunch of 2 x 4 scraps from the barn build. Yeah the building is looking nice. Definitely going to chew through wood. this will put me at about 7,000 sqft and 2 buildings using DHW (house for 3 kids and kennel building for 15 dogs). Ill be upgrading to a bigger unit, still narrowing down my choices. not sure yet! I got the summer to figure it out

It would be really interesting to let the G2 give it a try. I think it could but burn times might get too short in cold weather.

You can put ATF on once it is getting stuck without taking it apart and cleaning it and it will start working again?

Yes, I just run some across the top of the disc and let it soak in the crack. I've had a couple that needed a more thorough scraping, but ATF works pretty good in most cases.

I thought about it, but i think it would be cutting it to close. im sure it could handle it for the most part, but i think i would rather have a bit of flexibility. Once i run out of wood, with that heat load, its going to drop the water temp quick. The new building is also going to be all radiant in floor.

Ok, I may have to give that a try.
After taking a couple of them off and cleaning them, I soaked down good with liquid wrench brand dry lube and seemed to work very well. I did it on mine. I will pull it off once I shut down for the summer and see if there is anything building up on it.

Shutting down tonight and letting the waste oil boiler take over.

Started at 7 this morning unloading another semi load of seed, just got in five minutes ago. Once a way over priced used John Deere GPS receiver shows up for the air seeder we bought a few weeks ago I’m gonna start dropping seed in the ground, once I’m real busy adding wood is at the bottom of the list, however after a 14-15 hour day a long hot shower feels incredibly good so i’ll leave the waste oil boiler set to Auto for awhile at least.
