Title: Tornado
Post by: aarmga on June 12, 2017, 08:01:03 PM
We had a large tornado set down 5 miles from our house and wipe out the small towns to the east and west of us.  Pretty much a disaster here.  The lord was on my side tonight, even tho we have no power our home is safe.

Here is the beautiful aftermath that one can only see after a tornado.  This picture was not edited.

Thank God you're safe. We had a pretty big one come through about two hours east a few years ago.
We actually installed a furnace on a brand new house near there a little while later, the tornado had come right down his driveway, veared to the left and missed his house by about 100 yards. Lost a few shingles, thumped his heat pump unit around.
There was like 30 miles of destruction with one fatality. A lot of stories of people being protected. God is real.

Thanks for the reply mr. Yoder.  I wish I could have captured a better picture of the blood red sky but I only had my I phone available and no power to charge my wife's camera that was dead. The power did come back on about 30 minutes after the storm lifted.  I guess the guys were out working in that weather, they are nuts! The county garage 5 miles from my house had both the 16 foot overhead garage doors blown into the building. Amazing power of a tornado but so much distruction:(

Here is another picture a little before the sun went all the way down about 45 minutes after the storm due west of my house.
