Rusco Spindown Filter
« on: July 15, 2014, 01:22:48 PM »

For my new OWF install, I'll be adding Hot Water Rusco Spindown Filter 1 1/4" size.

Should this filter be installed on the supply line before the appliances?

Connected to the 1" Pex-Al Pex (basement side)?

What type of a reducer can I use from the plastic 1 1/4" housing to a brass ball shut off valve?

Filter should be first as far as adapters you may have to use brass fitting to down size it.

It's alright to connect brass to plastic threads?
