Gas line for apartment

Hi all. My younger bro and I are building an apartment for him on the second floor of my home. One of the last jobs is to install the black iron pipe for gas line (due to being threaded through a wall cavity, it's code that we use black iron pipe). We need to know what's typically used to anchor the pipe securely to the ceiling and wall. Also, what is the space between anchors? Roger

I'd imagine that's up to your local code to dictate.
I think black pipe is about standard everywhere.
