Shutdown for the Summer
« on: May 09, 2011, 07:17:27 AM »

Really enjoyed the last weeks use of the OWB. Calculating Electric reduction was the highlight. Now that warmer temps have arrived it was time to put the Green Dragon to sleep and get the firewood stack built up for next winter. Up to 5 cords already with a triaxle arriving by the end of the week.

All the ashes have been removed and vacumed. I think I am going to put a timer on the circulation pump to come on one hour a day.

Hope to have all the wood cut and stacked by the end of Memorial Day weekend. Then heading up to the Lake with our pocket cruiser for a few Days and read a good book.

Time to enjoy summer!

Installed Timer. Set for night time operation (2-4 am) 2 hours a day.

I am done. Going to pull the boat out and start prepping it for a week long trip on the lake. After Memorial Day. (Too many crazies on the lake during the holiday)

Have a Great Summer!
