Title: Overheat
Post by: Vincent Paul on May 10, 2016, 05:14:53 PM
We've had our 7500 for 3 years, we run it 365 days a year.  We burn wood that has been seasoned at least one year.  I came home tonight and temp was 214 spitting water out the weep hole and steam out of the top.  First time this has happened.  Without going through back threads on this topic, not sure what caused this.  Thoughts?

Most of the time is because the solenoid sticks open.

Thank you very much.  I suspected that is what happened but wasn't sure.

My controller went bad and wouldnt close the door or shut the fan off. Luckily, it only made it to 190 before i caught it.
