have a bl4044 that I traded in from the original owner after 4 years use it sprung a good leak at the brick seam and leaked down while the aquastat kept the unit running off steam temp till it self destructed.   distributer offered NO warranty-was only 12,000 new.  was traded for a new 409ss unit.  This is not the fist p&m with no warranty for us.  We will be offering replacement tanks for the bl series in 409ss by next summer(with warranty)at competitive prices. 507-234-5679

So is P&M making 409 tanks now? Or are these aftermarket tanks.

Will you be offering positive shutoff draft system retrofits as well? Awful lot of overshoot with that stupid weighted flapper thing always letting air in

They will be aftermarket. By a reputable 409ss manufacturer.
