Hardy / WHERE TO OIL BLOWER MOTOR
« on: December 12, 2012, 06:38:15 AM »
So I bought my H-2 July 2011 had it up and running October 1st 2011 and I ran it non stop ever since I liked the $30.00 savings not using water heater. But my blower quit October 26th 2012 it only lasted a year >:(. The book said to oil blower at the first of the heating season and I had not oiled it yet  :bash: so I just replaced it and went on with life. I wrote the blower going out as kinda my fault since alot of days in the summer I would return home to find fire out and blower running  :bash: until I figured out the proper loading of wood to prevent fire going out. So my question is since the book is not clear at all on this where do I oil the blower motor at? And if I run it year round do I need to oil it twice, three, or four times a year? Thanks in advance for the info.

« on: March 16, 2012, 04:58:51 PM »
Well I have been working at a lawn equiptment shop for about 4 years now and I have been using the shops demo mower to mow my yard ever since. We had a 2011 mower that we had not sold yet and the boss told me to discount the crap out of it because we need room for the 2012s. So we got to talking and he shot me a price I could not beleave :o so I am the proud new owner of a new Grasshopper 727K 61in ;D. I just hope the wife don't make me PAY for this :bash: :bash:!

« on: October 03, 2011, 07:00:38 AM »
Got my new h2 99% installed. Injoying the hot water for now. But I was looking it my stove after it got up to temp and I have a pretty big gap behind fire box door and ash door kinda like the outer shell is back to far I tried to slide it forward on the water tank but no luck. Any suggestions would be great. Im losing alot of heat right there. Its not a big deal now since its not very cold but I would like to get fixed before it gets cold.

Plumbing / Looking for input on my install
« on: August 02, 2011, 06:55:46 AM »
Well I brought my Hardy home about 3 weeks ago and got the location of where the wife and I want to put it,after many talks about it :bash: :bash:.
So I got everything around and poured my pad. Then got a locate on all the underground lines in my yard that will be in my way. now I'm up to the pipe.
So my question is will I need to buy oxygen barrier pex? It's going to be inside a pipe from the house to the stove so it's not going to be exposed no where. Next question my plan is to run my 4 pex pipes with split foam pipe insulation on all 4 pipes inside a 6in S&D pipe and I plan on putting it about 3 feet deep, frost line here about 16 to 20in. Will that work well or is there somthing else I need to cosider? And now for my last question I've been lookin at the pex pipe and some of it is rated for 160F, 180f, and some is 200f. is there some special pipe I need to get?
