General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / burning coal in OWB

I was hoping for some input on the Mahoning OWB , maybe no owners here what about other guys you know ?? Also anyone burning coal ? I'm in coal country so I thought that would be a good option if I ran out of wood . Was wondering how well they do burning coal .

Mahoning / Thinking about buying a Mahoning

Hi guys , I just found the site a couple days ago , and the folks here were kind enough to include Mahoning furnace's here with the others . I'm in the process of buying a OWB and alot of guys are going with the Mahoning because there is a real good dealer in the area . I know there not stainless and I have heard they smoke alot ! Ther seems to be a real debate over stainless and mild steel , and as far as smoking ,I think it would depend alot on the user . I hoping I can find some guys here that have the Mahoning and can give me first hand experince with them , good or bad , bring it on !! Thanks
