OK guys I know Politics is frowned on by some here on the forum but this is a very important day for these United States of America, I hope this post does not get blocked! I personally ask each and every one of you who reads this to give some real thought to this Election Day, a vote for party lines rather red or blue, Republican or Democrat is an uneducated vote, Please take the time to review the voting records of those running in your Election, do you want more of the same old crap or do you want real change and in which direction would you like it to move? Personally I want less Government, more accountability, less Lies, less subsidies, a Stronger American People and not Stronger Government, lets wake up folks, 18 Trillion dollars into our children and grandchildren's pockets, When does it STOP??????

General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / Portage and Main owners
« on: October 16, 2014, 04:36:26 AM »
OK guys here it is in a nutshell, Our office thinks I spend to much time on here and that I should do more sales stuff, I personally think that many of you bought our product simply because you know I'm here to answer questions, I like to call it one throat to choke if you know what I mean, I don't like sales and I think helping by promoting the industry brings more sales to our office than any amount of shows. I need to know for my own head space, Did my presence have anything to do with your decision to purchase a P+M product?

General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / Sabotage at Fryburg fair!!!!!!
« on: October 06, 2014, 06:11:42 AM »
Have a look at what one of my competitors was nice enough to deposit into my chip tank to jam up the auger on the chip boiler at the Blue ribbon classic fair here in Maine, out of about 30 vendors, I am a direct competitor to one and that happens to be the same person who called our office threatening lawsuits for helping Roxanne with her boiler, that vendor also uses augers on their ash removal on their wood boiler so they know what it takes to jam one up, What do you guys think? is this somebody looking out for the wood boiler industries best interest? I know this was not an accident as I watched these chips come through the chipper and they were loaded by me onto a clean pickup bed and then transferred into the chip tank by me using a chip fork by hand, I'm starting to think this means WAR. No damage was done to the unit as it shut itself down but it did cost us shutting down for the busiest day of the show, I AM NOT HAPPY!  Yes Terry I certainly suspect YOU, Take that to your lawyer, I will be contacting your corporate office this week to see how they feel about these tactics!

This is going to be a long one guys, please take the time to read it all.
First allow me to apologize to those who I have promised to follow up with on schematics, please repost so I can find the thread again, it's been one Hell of a week, I'm sure you will understand after you finish reading this post.
Monday Am, Dan and I prepped for a trip to Mass to deliver 2 250's along with 2 rolls of Lgstor and a base for a 250 bound for NY, We left out Tuesday with my old show trailer rated for 6000 pounds of axle weight, Not a good move! We made it to about 1/2 hour away from our first drop with a 250 and full roll of pipe before we broke an axle on the old trailer, we happened to break down 350 feet from an old run down garage that services a local trash trucks, we drove in and asked for help, they immediately dragged out an air operated jack, air wrench for the wheels and an old Lincoln coffin welder, along with about 10 sticks of 60-11 rod, Let's just say that 2 hours later we were on the road again at ZERO cost to me and corporate, the owner would accept no compensation and said that he had been there before and was happy to help! He is interested in a boiler with install, he will be taken care of!
We proceeded to our first drop and upon arrival told the story to the customer, he asked us to not take the chance with the old trailer and accept his offer to use his trailer to continue our mission, we accepted, He transferred our load to his trailer and we were off the next morning, mind you, I never met this man in my life before that day. Imagine a man so open minded to trust a man like me on our first encounter, now imagine 2 in one day.
We are currently on our way home from the Binghamton NY. with his trailer to unload a chip boiler picked up there and will double deck his trailer on my show trailer to return it and pick up my old trailer, I'm way behind schedule but everyone is OK and GOD BLESS GOOD PEOPLE, I think it's getting close to 4:20

« on: August 12, 2014, 04:17:19 AM »
The factory loaded my NEW 250 for my show trailer on Friday and it's on it's way to me, I'm very excited as we have put a lot into the design of this unit, I think those of you who are lucky enough to live close to one of my shows scheduled for this year will agree after seeing it that this is one kick butt unit, My first show will be Cornish NH fair, scheduled for August 15-17, I would like to see some of you locals at the fair to critique it, How about it Roger and Matty? will I be seeing you there? It's going to be tight on time getting it plumbed and running for the show because it will not be here before wednesday or thursday AM but we will do it at the show if needed, if all goes well you will see it run!
  Other shows scheduled will be.

Acton Maine fair August 21-24

Common Grounds fair, Unity, Maine Sept 19-21

Fryeburg Maine fair Sept 28- Oct 8

Sandwich, New Hampshire October 11-13

I hope to see lots of you there at one or more of these shows

General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / OK Stanley fads, you win
« on: June 29, 2014, 05:56:21 AM »
OK Stanley you win this time you piece of garbage, you have taken a great forum that helps many folks and destroyed it with your bull crap, I truly do not understand why but I guess you have your reasons, my feelings regarding you are that I truly hope your legs grow together and somebody, someday will stick your head fully into your ass

Here's a few shots of our project and what we woke up to! The land mass off in the distance is the mainland about 15 minutes travel with a powerboat or Ferry ride, a shot of the house from the front, house has no heat at all except wood stoves, homeowners froze their butts off last winter! We will be installing 1500 feet of 1/2 inch radiant with Ultra Fin under the main house that is a very tight crawlspace as well as some homemade towel racks in the bathrooms and a couple of cast iron rads in the upstairs bedrooms. OH I almost forgot the hot water, It will consist of 6 heat zones as well as a stub out for a future Gas wall hung boiler on the primary loop, all of it must fit into the utility room that allows me just 26 inches in width and just over 6 feet in height, it promises to be an interesting project, Oh again I almost forgot there is more, A future greenhouse loop will come off the boiler as well, see 2 stubbs of Logstor on right, beside my service trailer, I will get a better shot of the trailer after we clean it up a bit, what a mess!
