Adamant, I have a four foot section of insulated pipe on top of my woodmaster, with a rain cap. This has been on for 2 years. I burn my stove all year long. Rented an aerial lift today,to stain some parts of my log home. Set the lift up so I could pull the raincap off my stove. Looked down the pipe and nothing. Not even at the very top. Nothing to even scrape with a fingernail. Thats after 2 years straight. Be interested in what you find in your pipe. Shouldn't be much...Charlie
